Q: Are you available for my date and time?

I have to look at my calendar to answer this one, so please give me a call. It's never too early to protect your day–and to avoid disappointment later!

Call me today, and I will tell you for sure what my status is for your special day.

Q: How much do you charge?

The cost depends upon several things, for instance Montauk is more than Mineola, Saturday is more than Tuesday, and October is usually more than February. Usually I meet with the couple on another day before the wedding for a 60 minute zoom consultation. We get acquainted, I answer your questions, and we discuss all the details. This eliminates the possibility of confusion, creates noticeable chemistry between us, and makes for a beautiful ceremony. One bride told me "Everyone was asking if you're a friend of the family." That's because we had taken the time to establish a powerful chemistry between us–and it showed! (This approach is why I have so many 5-Star reviews.)

When the wedding is on Long Island, the cost is usually around $650. (more when it’s "out East"); for the five boroughs it's $700-$800, and for Westchester $700-$750.*

I also do "budget weddings"–that might mean you and a few friends in a beautiful gazebo (usually more like $350), or even a "simple legal weddings" where you come to me, where you can say vows/exchange rings, and we sign the papers. ($150.-$200) Vow renewals are usually $300., and Baby Dedications or Baptisms are usually $350.

Finally, I do "Marriage Skills" training, which is $75. per (zoom) session. These have been well-received. It’s about bringing emotional intelligence and new skills to your relationship.

Q: Will you meet with us before the wedding?

My regular approach is to meet with you ahead of time. (See the previous question's answer.) Sometimes it's not possible to meet ahead of time, or the couple wants to economize and eliminate that step. In such a case, I do all the planning with the couple remotely (email/phone). Sometimes there are good reasons for doing it this way, but I don't suggest it as a way to economize. Either way though, like everything else, the final decision is yours.

Q: Can you meet with us during the week?

I have a flexible schedule, so I can adjust to your schedule. I know you're busy. I meet with couples on weekday evenings and on weekends all the time.) Don't worry about this. We can always find a convenient way to meet.

Q: Do your have something like a worksheet to guide us through ceremony choices?

Yes. The first thing I do when you contact me is send you my Ceremony Worksheet. I've been using and fine-tuning it for over 15 years. My couples love it! My worksheet takes what can be a complicated process and makes it simple. It ensures that we're all on the same page, and it allows you to relax when you're in front of everyone, because you know everything that's going to happen!
